When 1st Team was selected to develop a new Web site for the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining in September, it was given a project completion window of five weeks. Those that understand Web development would agree that taking on the development of a site with 100+ pages, cutting edge graphics, sliders, news and event posts, social media integration, and search engine optimization that needs to be completed in five weeks from the project start date is almost unheard of.
1st Team, however, was able to deliver and did so in great fashion. “I think an ordinary company never would have taken this project on once they were given the time table. 1st Team has ever been accused of being ordinary,” said Ryan Gindlesperger, vice president at 1st Team.
The new Web site is compatable with multiple web browsers and mobile devices. It features over 100+ pages and 125+ news and event posts. “It is high end. We wanted to give them (NCDMM) a site that would meet their every day needs and at the same time have the ability to grow and be compatible years down the road,” said Steve Golias, director of operations at 1st Team.
“I have to tip my hat to Steve Golias and Kayla Blough at our company. They were the two people carrying the majority of the work load and coordinating this project from start to finish. I also can’t say enough about the people at NCDMM and Scott Deutsch from Deutsch Graphic Design. Without their dedication and willingness to work with us, we never would have been able to pull this off,” added Gindlesperger.
